The rain fall in first quarter was relatively law in Taiwan.  The water saving (restriction) procedures have been carried out in some areas.  Air force command has assigned 2 C-130H aircrafts in Pingtung Base to carry out artificial rainfall procedures on air above Taoyuan and Hsinchu this dawn (11th).  It is expected to increase the rainfall on reservoir area.  Air force command stresses that it will continuously seize the weather condition and cooperates closely with Water Resource Department of MOEA to implement artificial rainfall procedures to the hope of moderating the drought.
